The Tulelake Honkers (Tulelake, CA) basketball nipped the host Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA), 61-59 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Honkers (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Dunsmuir (Dunsmuir, CA). The Tigers go into the Evergreen test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Dunsmuir got by Big Valley (Bieber, CA), 65-62, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-14 record. They take the field next when they host Weed for a Shasta Cascade test on Tuesday, February 3. Fall River will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 69-57 league win over Trinity (Weaverville, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 11-8.
