The Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Redding Adventist Lumberjacks (Redding, CA), 73-28 in Wednesday's league test.

The Panthers (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Hayfork (Hayfork, CA). The Timberjacks go into the North Valley test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Hayfork walloped Dunsmuir (Dunsmuir, CA), 80-25, in a non-league test.

The Lumberjacks now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Champion Christian for a North Valley outing on Thursday, January 17. Redding Adventist will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 54-16 league win over Paradise Adventist Academy (Paradise, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-6.
