The Exeter Monarchs basketball team (Exeter, CA), was toppled 55-39 in Thursday's league contest with the host Selma Bears (Selma, CA)

The Bears now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Valley Christian for a Central Sequoia contest on Tuesday, February 14. Selma will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 61-60 league win over Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 15-7.

The Monarchs (10-14) will now prepare for their contest against Coalinga (Coalinga, CA). The Horned Toads enter the Central Sequoia contest with a 1-17 record. In their last contest, Coalinga was defeated by Immanuel (Reedley, CA), 45-25, in a league contest.
