Sophomore Maddie Maljian notched her fourth assist of the season, setting up junior Madeline Avila for her first goal of the year late in the first half. The goal secured a 2-1 lead, which ultimately proved to be the game-winner against league rival South Pasadena in the Rio Hondo League opener.
