Montclair HS Grabs Lead in Fifth Inning for Victory Over Azusa. Montclair HS snatched the lead late in the game in a 6-4 victory over Azusa on Monday. Montclair HS trailed 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Nikki Marquez homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs. Azusa opened up scoring in the first inning, when N Wilson grounded out, scoring one run. In the bottom of the first inning, Montclair HS tied things up at two. Brandi McKeehan earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Montclair HS. She lasted five innings, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out four. Arianna Espinoza threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Marquez went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Montclair HS in hits.
