California High School Softball - Cate knocked off by Foothill Tech
In Thursday's league contest, the Foothill Tech Dragons (Ventura, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Cate Rams (Carpinteria, CA), by a margin of 16-1.
With the triumph, Foothill Tech moves its record to 15-7 on the year. The Dragons host Malibu (Malibu, CA) to play the Sharks in a Frontier contest on Tuesday, May 12. The Sharks come into the contest with a record of 3-10. Malibu lost 12-2 in their recent league contest against Santa Clara (Oxnard, CA)
In their next game, the Rams play the Grace Brethren Lancers (Simi Valley, CA) in a Frontier contest, on Tuesday, May 12. Cate will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record.
