Durham Trojans (Durham, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterford for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 9. Durham will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Denair (Denair, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Gridley falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sutter (Sutter, CA) to battle the Huskies in a Butte View challenge on Tuesday, April 21. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 26-6.
