Sutter Huskies (Sutter, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA), 4-1 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now sport a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Orland for a Butte View challenge on Friday, April 15. Sutter will face a Trojans squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Gridley falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Winters (Winters, CA) to face the Warriors in a Butte View challenge on Saturday, April 16. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. Winters lost 5-0 in their recent league challenge against Wheatland (Wheatland, CA)
