Los Gatos Wildcats (Los Gatos, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Palo Alto for a De Anza challenge on Friday, April 30. Los Gatos will face a Vikings squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Milpitas falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Homestead (Cupertino, CA) to face the Mustangs in a De Anza challenge on Friday, April 30.
