Kaitlynn Watson has been named player of the year. "Kaitlyn Watson was one of the top defensive players in the State of Nevada. Despite South Tahoe missing the state tournament, Kaitlyn's reputation as a top flight libero was so strong she still was named All State. She made the mundane and spectacular play look easy and opposing teams did everything they could to keep the ball away from her with little success. She was a game changing libero for South Tahoe. She will be taking her talents to Loyola University in New Orleans next year."
