In Monday's non-league contest, the host Simla Cubs basketball team scored a big 77-47 win over the Hoehne Farmers.

The Cubs (18-2) will now prepare for their contest against Salida (Salida, CO). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Salida was trounced by The Vanguard School (Colorado Springs, CO), 63-58, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Farmers battle the Crowley County Chargers (Ordway, CO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 28. Hoehne will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Chargers come into the contest with a 19-2 record after their 78-42 non-league win over Rye (Rye, CO).
