The Olathe Pirates basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Rangely Panthers to 34 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, January 17. Olathe will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 65-45 non-league loss to Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-3.

The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Vail Christian (Edwards, CO). The Saints enter the 2A/1A Western Slope outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Vail Christian smashed Plateau Valley (Collbran, CO), 55-29, in a league outing.
