The Joel Barlow Falcons got by the visiting Weston Trojans baseball team by a count of 8-7 in Monday's league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bunnell for a Southwest - Colonial match on Tuesday, May 10. Joel Barlow will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-8 league loss to Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-12.

The Trojans (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Lancers go into the Southwest - Patriot match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Notre Dame Catholic was edged by New Milford (New Milford, CT), 9-6, in a non-league match.
