March madness hits Connecticut

The New London vs. Norwich Free Academy football game has been played since May 12, 1875 and is known as the oldest rivalry game in existence. This date is only six years after the very first collegiate American football game in 1869. When New London and Norwich Free Academy meet this Thanksgiving morning in 2015, this will be their 154th meeting. Currently it is believed that the Norwich Wildcats hold a 75-67-11 record all-time in the rivalry series.
