John McCabe has been named player of the year. "John McCabe has demonstrated exemplary leadership for his team, consistently showcasing his sportsmanship in every game he participated in. As a Senior at the American School for the Deaf, he remained humble and earned the deepest respect from his peers, both on and off the court. John consistently provided honest feedback to his Coaches, both pre- and post-game, and I was impressed by his ability to articulate his thoughts in front of his teammates, thereby enabling them to improve and capitalize on their strengths to win games. Despite the intense pressure of numerous close games, he maintained a positive attitude towards coaches and fans. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to you for taking the time to read this player spotlight, highlighting a truly deserving Player of the Year."
