    Sydney Sauto has been named player of the year. "With looking back on the season and all of the obstacles the team endured over the spring, summer, fall and winter, I look at which player embraced everything. Everything refers to the expected and the unexpected. This player embraced times when our team wasn't practicing or playing to its potential. There were times that required this player to step up and show their leadership on the court and off. A level of intelligence was required of this player and she showed such in her play. This could only be done by showing a level of commitment that many on our team was missing. This player showed coachabilty and is an ideal player physically, mentally and socially to have on a team. She lead the team in points scored, and holds the school record for steals in a single game. I only wish to have coached this player all 4 years of High School. I choose, Sydney Sauto, for Player of the Year!"
