LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Forest Park Panthers (Forest Park, GA), 58-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, LaGrange upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Grangers travel to Centennial (Roswell, GA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Centennial lost 55-50 in their recent league bout against Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Forest Park will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The War Eagles come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 62-61 non-league win over Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA).
