The North Sand Mountain Bison basketball team scored 103 points and held the visiting Valley Head Tigers to 31 in the Bison non-league triumph on Monday.

The Bison now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Section for a 2A Area 15 contest on Friday, January 6.

The Tigers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Crossville (Crossville, AL). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Crossville was routed by Plainview (Rainsville, AL), 102-39, in a non-league contest.
