Ohio High School Basketball - Chardon can't hold off Cornerstone Christian
January 2, 2023: Willoughby, OH 44094 The Cornerstone Christian Patriots basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Chardon Hilltoppers to 56 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.
The Patriots now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fuchs Mizrachi for a Freelance contest on Saturday, January 7. Cornerstone Christian will battle a Mayhem team coming off a 52-26 non-league win over Reimer Road Baptist Christian (Wadsworth, OH). The Mayhem record now stands at 4-7.
The Hilltoppers (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (Painesville, OH). The Beavers enter the Western Reserve contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Riverside nudged Alliance (Alliance, OH), 70-37, in a non-league contest.
