Oklahoma High School Basketball - Caney Valley knocked off by Nowata
January 2, 2024: Nowata, OK 74048 The Nowata Ironmen basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Caney Valley Bullpups to 53 in the Ironmen non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Ironmen now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caney Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Nowata will meet a Trojans team coming off a 49-37 non-league win over Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 4-1.
The Bullpups (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Riverton (Riverton, KS). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Riverton ran past Columbus (Columbus, KS), 67-56, in a non-league contest.
