New Jersey High School Basketball - Clifton can't hold off Passaic
January 2, 2024: Clifton, NJ 07013 The Passaic Indians basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Clifton Mustangs to 51 in the Indians league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastside for a Big North - Liberty contest on Thursday, January 4. Passaic will battle a Ghosts team coming off a 60-56 league win over Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ). The Ghosts record now stands at 3-4.
The Mustangs (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ). The Knights come into the Big North - Liberty contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Bergen Tech was nudged by Kennedy (Paterson, NJ), 64-46, in a league contest.
