The Crater Comets basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Mazama Vikings to 55 in the Comets non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Comets now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springfield for a 5A Midwestern contest on Friday, January 5. Crater will battle a Millers team coming off a 44-43 non-league loss to Willamette (Eugene, OR). The Millers record now stands at 3-8.

The Vikings (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Cottage Grove dropped by Phoenix (Phoenix, OR), 63-55, in a non-league contest.
