Wisconsin High School Basketball - Stanley-Boyd can't hold off Durand-Arkansaw
January 2, 2024: Durand, WI 54736 The Durand-Arkansaw Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Stanley-Boyd Orioles to 58 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenwood City for a Dunn-St. Croix contest on Friday, January 5. Durand-Arkansaw will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 90-49 non-league win over Prairie Farm (Prairie Farm, WI). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 6-3.
The Orioles (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against McDonell Central (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Macks come into the Cloverbelt - West contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, McDonell Central edged Athens (Athens, WI), 55-50, in a non-league contest.
