Ohio High School Basketball - Fairfield Union topped by Tri-Valley
January 2, 2024: Lancaster, OH 43130 The Tri-Valley Scotties basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Fairfield Union Falcons to 34 in the Scotties non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Scotties now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River View for a Muskingum Valley contest on Friday, January 5. Tri-Valley will battle a Black Bears team coming off a 42-39 non-league win over Ridgewood (West Lafayette, OH). The Black Bears record now stands at 4-5.
The Falcons (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Circleville (Circleville, OH). The Tigers come into the Mid-State - Buckeye contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Circleville prevailed over Miami Trace (Washington Courthouse, OH), 46-39, in a non-league contest.
