January 2, 2024: Farwell, TX 79325 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX) and the visiting Nazareth Swifts (Nazareth, TX), saw Farwell's basketball squad hold off Nazareth by a count of 43-39.
With the victory, Farwell upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Steers host Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Robertson won 58-39 in their recent non-league challenge against West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM)
Next up, the Swifts play the Clarendon Broncos (Clarendon, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Nazareth will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 35-22 non-league loss to Canyon (Canyon, TX).
