Oklahoma High School Basketball - Panama can't hold off Wister
January 2, 2024: Wister, OK 74966 The Wister Wildcats basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Panama Razorbacks to 65 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cameron for a non-league match on Thursday, January 4. Wister will meet a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 48-35 non-league loss to Smithville (Smithville, OK). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 3-11.
With the defeat, Panama moves to 4-4 on the year. The Razorbacks travel to Clayton (Clayton, OK) to meet the Bulldogs in a Rock Island match on Thursday, January 4. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 9-5. Clayton won 56-39 in their recent non-league match against Mill Creek (Mill Creek, OK)
