Texas High School Basketball - Valley crushes Patton Springs

January 2, 2024: Turkey, TX 79261

Valley Patriots (Turkey, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Patton Springs Rangers (Afton, TX), 63-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Valley upgrades its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to White Deer (White Deer, TX) to play the Bucks in a 1A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bucks come into the bout with a record of 4-9. White Deer lost 47-42 in their recent non-league bout against West Texas (Stinnett, TX)

Next up, the Rangers play the Paducah Dragons (Paducah, TX) in a 1A Region I District 5 bout, on Thursday, January 11. Patton Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record.
