The Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD) basketball knocked off the visiting Tea Titans (Tea, SD), 69-49 in Tuesday's league test.

The Tanagers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Parkston (Parkston, SD). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Parkston notched a victory over Hanson (Alexandria, SD), 58-54, in a league test.

The Titans now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Madison for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Tea will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 71-39 non-league loss to Castlewood (Castlewood, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
