January 2, 2024: Wilbraham, MA 01095 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Minnechaug Regional Falcons (Wilbraham, MA) and the visiting Belchertown Orioles (Belchertown, MA), saw Minnechaug Regional's basketball squad overcome Belchertown by a tally of 50-30.
With the victory, Minnechaug Regional improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Falcons host East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA) to battle the Spartans in a Valley Wheel battle on Tuesday, January 9. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 0-1. East Longmeadow lost 37-29 in their recent non-league battle against West Springfield (West Springfield, MA)
The Orioles (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Southwick Regional (Southwick, MA). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Southwick Regional dropped by Frontier Regional (South Deerfield, MA), 45-35, in a non-league battle.
