The Centennial Hawks basketball team (Las Cruces, NM), dropped 46-33 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX)

The Rangers now sport a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain View for a 4A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Riverside will battle a Lobos team coming off a 51-8 non-league win over Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 14-6.

With the defeat, Centennial moves to 5-7 on the year. The Hawks travel to Roswell (Roswell, NM) to meet the Coyotes in a non-league match on Friday, January 5. The Coyotes enter the match with a record of 8-3. Roswell won 37-20 in their recent non-league match against Goddard (Roswell, NM)
