Texas High School Basketball - Navasota overwhelms El Campo
January 2, 2024: Navasota, TX 77868 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Navasota Rattlers (Navasota, TX) and the visiting El Campo Ricebirds (El Campo, TX), saw Navasota's basketball squad wallop El Campo by a tally of 65-28.
With the victory, Navasota improves its record to 22-3 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to Sealy (Sealy, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 4A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 12-9. Sealy won 44-35 in their recent league challenge against Bellville (Bellville, TX)
Next up, the Ricebirds confront the Needville Bluejays (Needville, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Friday, January 5. El Campo will attempt to improve on its 2-18 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 0-15 record after their 58-30 league loss to Wharton (Wharton, TX).
