Virginia High School Basketball - Freedom can't hold off Tuscarora
January 2, 2024: Leesburg, VA 20176 The Freedom Eagles basketball team (South Riding, VA), was nudged 36-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA)
The Huskies now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loudoun County for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 3. Tuscarora will battle a Captains team coming off a 54-31 league loss to Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA). The Captains record now stands at 0-8.
The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Battlefield (Haymarket, VA). The Bobcats come into the Cedar Run battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Battlefield edged Patriot (Nokesville, VA), 39-37, in a league battle.
