January 2, 2024: Miller, SD 57362 The Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds basketball team (Wolsey, SD), was overwhelmed 54-21 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD)
The Rustlers now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mobridge-Pollock for a A Region 6 battle on Thursday, January 4. Miller will battle a Tigers team coming off a 49-35 non-league win over Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
The Warbirds (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against James Valley Christian (Huron, SD). The Vikings come into the B Region 2 battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, James Valley Christian was overwhelmed by Lyman (Presho, SD), 53-47, in a non-league battle.
