Louisiana High School Basketball - Walker overwhelms Assumption
January 2, 2025: Napoleonville, LA 70390 The Walker Wildcats basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Assumption Mustangs to 22 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now have a 13-9 record. They play next when they host Dunham for a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. Walker will confront a Tigers team coming off a 36-29 non-league win over Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Assumption falls to 9-20 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Cubs in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Cubs go into the game with a record of 11-5. University Lab won 77-45 in their recent non-league game against Covington (Covington, LA)
