Louisiana High School Basketball - University Lab holds off Ponchatoula
January 2, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70803 The University Lab Cubs basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Ponchatoula Green Wave to 49 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cubs now have a 8-5 record. They play next when they host East Ascension for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. University Lab will confront a Spartans team coming off a 65-50 non-league loss to Catholic (Baton Rouge, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Ponchatoula falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Green wave host Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 5-2. Dunham lost 53-50 in their recent non-league game against Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX)
