Nebraska High School Basketball - Scotus can't get by Yutan
January 2, 2025: Yutan, NE 68073 Yutan Chieftains (Yutan, NE) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE), 50-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Yutan advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Raymond Central (Raymond, NE) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 1-7. Raymond Central lost 58-42 in their recent non-league match against Conestoga (Murray, NE)
The Shamrocks now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Christian for a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. Scotus will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 58-56 non-league win over Milford (Milford, NE). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-3.
