In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Meridian Warriors basketball team scored a good 58-48 triumph over the Emmett Huskies.

The Warriors (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Bishop Kelly was toppled by Capital (Boise, ID), 54-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies confront the Ridgevue Warhawks (Nampa, ID) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Emmett will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Warhawks go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 53-39 non-league win over Burley (Burley, ID).
