With the victory, Vinton County advances its record to 8-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to Jackson (Jackson, OH) to meet the Ironman/Ironladies in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4. The Ironman/Ironladies enter the battle with a record of 0-12. Jackson lost 47-27 in their recent non-league battle against Adena (Frankfort, OH)
The Mohawks now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Gallia for a Southern Ohio II battle on Monday, January 6. Northwest will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 47-45 non-league loss to Alexander (Albany, OH). The Rebels record now stands at 5-5.
