Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA), 52-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Palos Verdes advances its record to 11-5 on the year. The Sea Kings host South (Torrance, CA) to meet the Spartans in a Pioneer battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Spartans enter the battle with a record of 10-7. South lost 56-48 in their recent non-league battle against West (Torrance, CA)

The Sea Hawks now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Montgomery for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4. Redondo Union will meet a Knights squad coming off a 65-56 non-league win over McClatchy (Sacramento, CA). The Knights record now stands at 11-3.
