The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) and the host Redding Christian Lions (Palo Cedro, CA), observed Weed's basketball team knock off Redding Christian by a score of 42-24.

The Cougars (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoopa Valley (Hoopa, CA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record.
