January 2, 2025: Brooklyn, OH 44144 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Avon Eagles ice hockey team scored a close 2-0 victory over the Brooklyn Hurricanes.
The Eagles (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Orange (Pepper Pike, OH). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Orange edged Mayfield (Mayfield, OH), 3-2, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hurricanes play the Lakewood Rangers (Lakewood, OH) in a contest, on Saturday, January 4. Brooklyn will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Rangers go into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Westlake (Westlake, OH).
