January 2, 2025: Devils Lake, ND 58301 Sheyenne Mustangs (West Fargo, ND) fans exited the stadium happy Thursday as they observed their ice hockey team defeat the host Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Fargo South (Fargo, ND). The Bruins come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record.
In their next game, the Firebirds battle the Mandan Braves (Mandan, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Devils Lake will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 2-2 non-league Dickinson (Dickinson, ND).
