The Longhorns now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Tahoe for a 2A Northern test on Saturday, January 3. Battle Mountain will encounter a Lakers squad coming off a 30-24 league loss to Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV). The Lakers record now stands at 3-7.

The Falcons (2-7) will now prepare for their test against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV). The Wolverines come into the 2A Northern test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, West Wendover crushed Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV), 48-6, in a league bout.
