Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Camelback Spartans (Phoenix, AZ), 55-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Seton Catholic upgrades its record to 3-12 on the campaign. The Sentinels host Amphitheater (Tucson, AZ) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 4. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 9-6. Amphitheater won 76-58 in their recent non-league test against South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ)

The Spartans now own a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alhambra for a I Section I test on Friday, January 4. Camelback will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 83-49 non-league loss to Tempe (Tempe, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 0-15.
