Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Youngstown Christian Eagles (Youngstown, OH), 58-48 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Springfield improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Crestview (Columbiana, OH) to confront the Rebels in a Inter-Tri County - Upper challenge on Tuesday, January 7. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 1-5.
