Iowa High School Basketball - Prairie City-Monroe crushes Earlham
January 3, 2022: Earlham, IA 50072 Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Earlham Cardinals (Earlham, IA), 54-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Prairie City-Monroe upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to South Hamilton (Jewell, IA) to play the Hawks in a Heart of Iowa - Large bout on Friday, January 7. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-8. South Hamilton lost 45-40 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Woodward-Granger Hawks (Woodward, IA) in a West Central bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Earlham will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
