January 3, 2022: Pinon, AZ 86510 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Pinon Eagles (Pinon, AZ) and the visiting Rock Point Cougars (Rock Point, AZ), saw Pinon's basketball squad wallop Rock Point by a count of 64-29.
With the victory, Pinon upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ) to play the Bruins in a 2A North challenge on Thursday, January 6. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Hopi lost 83-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Chinle (Chinle, AZ)

The Cougars come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 56-45 non-league win over Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM).
