January 3, 2022: Cambridge, WI 53523 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Cambridge Bluejays (Cambridge, WI) and the visiting Poynette Pumas (Poynette, WI), saw Cambridge's basketball squad knock off Poynette by a count of 57-44.
With the victory, Cambridge upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Belleville (Belleville, WI) to play the Wildcats in a Capitol - South challenge on Thursday, January 6. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Belleville won 64-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Evansville (Evansville, WI)
Next up, the Pumas play the Baraboo Thunderbirds (Baraboo, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 4. Poynette will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 58-47 non-league loss to Jefferson (Jefferson, WI).
