Mendon Vikings (Pittsford, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Batavia Blue Devils (Batavia, NY), 63-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mendon upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Vikings host Rush-Henrietta (Henrietta, NY) to clash with the Royal Comets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Royal Comets go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Rush-Henrietta lost 69-39 in their recent league bout against Victor (Victor, NY)

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Southwestern Trojans (Jamestown, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Batavia will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 83-52 non-league loss to Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY).
