Texas High School Basketball - Wall topples Clyde
January 3, 2023: Clyde, TX 79510 In Tuesday's league outing, the Wall Hawks (Wall, TX) basketball squad beat the host Clyde Bulldogs (Clyde, TX), by a count of 45-37.
The Hawks (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Ballinger (Ballinger, TX). The Bearcats go into the 3A Region I District 6 outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Ballinger was topped by Merkel (Merkel, TX), 42-35, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy for a 3A Region I District 6 outing on Friday, January 6. Clyde will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 97-32 league win over Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-5.
